New downtown Spartanburg apartments are one step closer to construction.
The Kennedy Street Apartments would bring 132 new apartment units to the corner of Kennedy, Union, and Advent streets on the east side of downtown Spartanburg. City Neighborhood Services Director Martin Livingston said at the meeting there are about 1,200 apartment units proposed, planned, or under construction in the City of Spartanburg.
