Story:

The Haig Point Club on Daufuskie Island is an exclusive residential community on a private island located just across Calibogue Sound from the highly developed Hilton Head Island.  The challenge was to create a master plan to redevelop a vastly under-utilized 13.9-acre site on Hilton Head Island that currently serves as a ferry pier, a marketing center, and (primarily) as a parking lot for resident vehicles - that are not allowed on Daufuskie Island.  The solution strives to create a charming, walkable waterfront village comprised of restaurants, retail, boutique hotel, residential condominiums all while preserving the ferry pier and maintaining the required parking to serve both the new development and the parking needed for the residents on Daufuskie Island.
